Beginners Running Class

Join us for a Zero to 5k Beginners Runners Class!
This class will consist of two 45 minute classes per week:
- Monday Class will be begin with stretching followed by an easy outdoor group walk/run with the goal of slowly and steadily increasing your distance, endurance, and strength.
- Wednesday Class will consist of a light strength and conditioning workout inside the gym and stretching.
Classes will be every Monday and Wednesday at 5:30pm starting March 30th.
Participants in the class will receive a Machias Fitness running jersey. Those who complete the 8 weeks will finish with a group 5k race the following Saturday (May 23rd) hosted by Machias Fitness where participants will receive a medal.
Please bring water, a pair of clean indoor shoes, outdoor running shoes, and weather appropriate attire.
