Join us at Machias Fitness on Tuesdays for a 30-45 minute HIIT Class.

Classes are available to all! No membership required. Please note the time and date of the class prior to purchase. Class purchases are nonrefundable. All class attendees are required to bring a pair of indoor shoes, and sign a waiver before participation.

Expect a fast-paced, efficient workout designed to get your heart rate up and build strength in a short amount of time.

A typical 30–45 minute HIIT class includes:

  • Warm-up (5–10 min): Light cardio and dynamic movements to get your body ready
  • Intervals (20–30 min): Short bursts of high-intensity exercises (like squats, lunges, jumps, or push-ups) followed by brief rest or lower-intensity recovery periods
  • Circuits or rounds: You may repeat a series of exercises multiple times to build endurance and strength
  • Cool-down (5–10 min): Slower movements, stretching, and breathing to recover

You can expect to sweat, feel challenged, and modify movements as needed—HIIT is designed for all fitness levels, so you can go at your own pace while still getting a great workout.
