Pickleball League

Come out and join us for an awesome summer of Pickleball in Machias!

League will be played in two different weekly sessions and the games will take place over 5 weeks in the summer with the final weekend play being the competitive tournament. 

All players are encouraged to join for casual play evenings to help grow the sport, hone your skills, and support the league. On Casual Evenings doubles of all skill levels will play in an open format on both courts where rules are loose, score is optional, and fun is the objective. This is great opportunity to get familiar with the sport, become better, or flex your skills. Singles are welcome to join as there are no set teams during open play evenings and players will be mixed and matched in doubles games. 

Competitive League is for those looking to really test their skills, or simply enjoy Pickleball in a competition format. Games will primarily take place on Saturday morning with the option to coordinate games throughout the week (schedule flexibility is available). Doubles teams (Male, Female, and Mixed) will face off head to head against opponents in a round robin format for weeks 1-4. Once every team gets a chance to play each other official rankings will be assigned and week 5 will end with a double elimination tournament and a prize pool. To sign up for this league teams must register together. The cost of $50 covers the fee for both players. Players without a doubles partner that would like to play in the competitive league should plan to join for the first Tuesday casual night where there will be an opportunity to meet other singles and create a team.
